A young man was on vacation at his friends’ parents’ lakefront cottage estate in Muskoka – the property was a sight to be seen - a massive 6 bed, 8 bath mansion equipped with an Inground pool, tennis and basketball courts, home gym, an outdoor kitchen by the shoreline, beside the multi-level boathouse equipped with a top floor bunky. It was pure luxury. As the young man sat with his friends’ father reminiscing about the week-long sun escape they just had, he started to thank the friends’ father for hosting him all week. As he continued to express gratitude to the friends’ dad while describing all of the features of the property, he summarized; “I just wanted to thank you for being so generous and hosting me at such an amazing place." As the friends' father sat there, he smiled to reflect on how he was proud of this young man for being mature and gracious beyond his years, and replied; “You’re very welcome. I’m really happy that you're here because without friends and family to share it with, it’s just bricks and mortar.”
